BMW has been one of the pioneer luxury brands in the world of electric vehicles and they want to maintain that. To do so, they will be expanding their i-electric line with a new model: the 2026 BMW iX3 SUV. There isn’t much currently known about the iX3, but we have put together what is currently expected for the upcoming model. Let’s dive in!
The BMW iX3 will be one of six models BMW will be launching on the brand’s new EV platform. It is expected to excel in numerous areas, including performance, range, infotainment, driver’s assistance, and luxury amenities. No pricing, trim, packages, or other details have been unveiled as of yet, but we will be sure to keep you up to date as we learn more.
As mentioned above, there are no certain details on the iX3 yet, but it is expected to have a single- and dual-powertrain model. With this being the new generation on BMW’s new EV platform, we can hope to expect quick acceleration, snappy handling, and more.
There are no official figures on the range yet. Taking potential hints from the Vision Neue Klasse X concept, which previewed the new EV platform, the iX3 should achieve over 300 miles of range.
If we look back at the Vision Neue Klasse X concept, we can hopefully assume some potential infotainment and tech features of the iX3. The concept featured a central infotainment touchscreen. Additionally, a ribbon display that spanned the windshield made it easier for drivers to see information without being distracted from the road. We can hopefully also expect a high-functioning voice assistance and head-up display.
