Jaguar’s Hybrid Technology

Jaguar uses mild hybrid systems in the E-PACE. Mild hybrids charge the battery as they are driven, which means you don’t have to plug it in or stop to charge. The system captures energy from coasting and braking and then uses it to charge a battery located in the vehicle’s underbody. This energy is then used to supplement the gasoline engine to improve efficiency.

The 2022 E-PACE mild hybrid allows for improved efficiency over gasoline power alone. According to EPA estimates, the JAGUAR E-PACE Hybrid got 20 mpg in the city, 26 on the highway, and 23 combined. This makes it a great SUV for daily commutes and means less time spent at the gas station.

For infotainment, the E-PACE offers an 11.4” touchscreen display mounted in the dashboard’s center. The Pivi Pro software includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for easy device integration. The higher trim packages also include built-in navigation and over-the-air update systems.
