The Land Rover Range Rover has long been known for its significant luxury features with an added edge to tackle off-road engagements. The Range Rover was first revealed in 1970 and has been turning heads ever since. Of course, the Range Rover has changed a lot since then. It has gone through numerous evolutions, making it bigger and better than ever, with even a hybrid version introduced.
The next big change to Range Rover is adding a new fully electric version. While we don’t know everything about the Range Rover EV yet, it’s looking to become available for pre-order in 2025. Let’s take a look at what we know so far.
The Range Rover EV will be largely built around the wheelbase of the gas-powered version. However, it will include a multilink suspension system that helps cut down on space to allow for room for the battery and rear-wheel steering.
According to Land Rover, the Range Rover EV will look very close to the gas-powered version and should match the performance of the V-8 model. There is still much to know about the Range Rover EV, but it is expected to maintain all the luxury and off-road capability we’ve come to know.
The full performance and range details of the Range Rover EV are kept pretty well under wraps. We will be sure to update you as we come to learn more.
Unfortunately, there are no details about the infotainment and tech setup either. However, we can expect it to at least maintain Land Rover’s ample tech setups within their vehicles.
