Jaguar F-Type Review
The Jaguar F-Type was initially launched for the 2014 model year and has been making waves ever since. Unfortunately, 2024 was the final model year for the F-Type, which coincided with the F-Type’s tenth year and Jaguar’s 75th anniversary.
Even though there won’t be any new models of the F-Type, Ray Catena has an inventory of certified pre-owned F-Types to choose from. Check out our full review of the F-Type below to learn more about this powerful beast.

Jaguar F-Type Trim Packages
The F-Type technically offers six different trim packages. However, it is more like three trim levels with a coupe or convertible option. These trim packages are:
- R-Dynamic P450 Coupe
- R-Dynamic P450 Convertible
- 75 P450 Coupe
- 75 P450 Convertible
- R75 P575 Coupe
- R75 P575 Convertible
Jaguar F-Type Engine and Performance
As mentioned above, the F-Type certainly has the power to back up its sports car aesthetics. The P450 V-8 engine offers plenty of punch at 444 horsepower, but the R75 bumps this up to a whopping 575 horsepower.
Both engines offer the kick and sound you expect to hear from a car that looks like the F-Type, making for an all-around thrilling drive. The base F-Type hits 0-60 in around 4.0 seconds, while the R75 drops this down to around only 3.4 seconds.
Jaguar F-Type Sports Car Design
Let’s be honest, the F-Type just looks incredible and it is a pleasure to hop in the cockpit. On the outside, you get the edgy look that you want from any sports car, with almost an aggressive-looking front grille.
On the inside, you get luxuriously stitched upholstery with faux-suede accents and chrome trim for that upper-class look. Of course, it’s a sports car, so there isn’t much to say about spaciousness, but that’s to be expected.
Jaguar F-Type Tech and Infotainment
The F-Type comes with a pretty great standard tech outfit, including a 10” touchscreen display and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. However, additional options include a premium surround-sound system, Wi-Fi hotspot, and wireless phone charging.
Jaguar Safety Systems
The F-Type certainly isn’t designed around being an optimally safe family vehicle, but it offers plenty of safety options to protect drivers and passengers. These include forward collision warnings, lane departure warnings, lane-keeping assist, blind spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alerts.
Overview of the Jaguar F-Type
The F-Type is an incredible sports car that will be dearly missed now that it’s discontinued. However, buyers can still secure themselves a 2024 version or browse certified pre-owned models at Ray Catena Auto Group to get their hands on one. With incredible aesthetics, plenty of power, and a tech outfit to stay entertained, the F-Type is a thrilling drive.
