AMG Electrification – The defining characteristic of the AMG line of vehicles has always been their engines. So, with electric engines becoming more sophisticated, it was only a matter of time before Mercedes-Benz unveiled its first electric AMG vehicle. The first ever AMG electric engine is a Dual Permanently Excited Synchronous (PSM) motor. 

It powers the Mercedes-Benz AMG EQS with up to 560 kW of electric power. That’s enough to generate as much as 751 horsepower and 752 lb.-ft. of torque using the Race Start mode. With the smooth acceleration common in all-electric vehicles, the AMG EQS can go from 0 to 60 in just 3.4 seconds.

So, the enhancements made to the AMG-line EQS are even more impressive. Self-leveling 4-wheel AMG Ride Control+ Sport Suspension helps to create an unbelievably smooth and powerful ride. 

And with 9-degree rear-axle steering, the AMG EQS is also incredibly responsive at every bend in the road. An Intelligent Disconnect system allows the front motor to disengage when the power isn’t needed to reduce drag. Pinnacle of Luxury – To add to the elegance of the Mercedes-Benz AMG EQS, the manufacturer has also outfitted it with impeccable luxury features. All of the standard luxury features available in the Mercedes-Benz EQS 450 are available in the AMG model.  However, several other additional features also come standard with the AMG EQS. These include heated rear seats, multi-contour massaging front seats, and a heated windshield to make cold weather easier to handle. Also standard is the impressive MBUX Hyperscreen, a 56.0-inch all-purpose digital display screen that stretches across the entire dashboard. 

This stain- and scratch-proof screen provides easy control for all your entertainment, comfort, and navigational needs. An over-the-air update for 2024 provides video streaming through Zync. The signature AMG body styling also adds to the vehicle’s stylish flare while also improving aerodynamics.
