The Cayenne has long been an impressive part of the Porsche lineup. Initially released in 2003, the Cayenne has gone through many changes but remains a joy to drive. This is even more the case with its hybrid versions, which deliver the same joy with more efficiency.
The Cayenne saw its first hybrid version in 2010, which has now evolved into the 2025 Cayenne E-Hybrid. Funny enough, the E-Hybrid is now the most powerful Cayenne model ever. So, let’s take a closer look at the 2025 Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid and its impressive array of features.
The E-Hybrid received the same upgrades as the entire Cayenne lineup for 2025. This includes upgraded interior lighting, a 360-degree camera system, better cabin filtration, and soft close doors. However, the E-Hybrid does get its own special exterior and interior trim to help it stand out from the rest.
As mentioned above, the 2025 E-Hybrid is the most powerful Cayenne ever. It features a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 gas engine, along with an electric motor. This combination generates an incredible 729 horsepower and 700 lb-ft of torque.
This makes for a claimed top speed of 183mph and a 0-60 of 3.5 seconds, Porsche says. Moreover, a larger 20.6kWh battery can be charged with a faster onboard charger compared to previous models. For handling, the steering feels light and snappy, while an adaptive suspension system delivers an excellent amount of control.
Hopping inside the E-Hybrid, you’re greeted by a suite of incredible tech. Starting with the 12.3-inch touchscreen, which features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. On the passenger side, an optional 10.9-inch display can be added to stream video content.
However, a safety feature makes this screen unable to see from the driver’s view. The digital instrument sits on a 12.6-inch screen to see all relevant information at an easy glance. The base 14-speaker Bose sound system is impressive enough, but this can also be upgraded to a Burmester system with 21 speakers.
Of course, the interior cabin is strewn with all the luxury you’d expect from Porsche. This includes standard leather-trimmed seats with 18-way power adjustment. This can be swapped out for an optional 14-way power adjustment as well. The E-Hybrid features a decent amount of cargo space at 15.8 cubic feet behind the rear seats, which goes up to 55 cubic feet when the seats are folded down.
The E-Hybrid features a host of excellent standard and optional safety features.
