Porsche Dazzles with Latest Luxury Drop-Top, the 2017 718 Boxster
Has the luxury convertible class been calling your name?
Well, if so, we here at Ray Catena Auto Group feel you owe it to yourself to give Porsche’s latest creation, the all-new 2017 718 Boxster, a try.
We think you’ll see what we mean after watching the clip below, a video review of the 718 Boxster from Autotrader commentator Jabari Jones. Take a look and listen:
If high-octane performance is the priority, the 718 Boxster’s top-tier trim, the S, is sure to satisfy.
Motivated by a 2.5-liter turbo four-cylinder, the S makes a monstrous 350 horsepower and 309 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed to the rear wheels through either a standard six-speed manual transmission or an optional seven-speed dual clutch PDK automated manual.
Take the S with the PDK gearbox and the available Sport Chrono package and it’ll achieve the 0-to-60 mph sprint with head-spinning swiftness, arriving there in only 4.0 seconds flat.
Nevertheless, we still wonder: how might you mesh with this muscly machine? To find out, be sure to pop on by our Edison, NJ facility. We’d be delighted to arrange a test drive in the 718 Boxster, or any other Porsche model that’s captured your curiosity.
