Porsche is proud to announce the new ‘King of the Ring”

Porsche’s 2018 911 GT2 RS has set the new record for fastest lap time on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife in time of only 6:47.3.  Not only did the 911 GT2 RS beat the record, it blew passed the previous records set by the all-wheel-drive Lamborghini Huracán Performante at 6:52.01 and the Dodge Viper ACR at 7:01.3.  Putting its 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged flat-6 engine to test with 533 pound-feet of torque, this car can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 2.7 seconds and top out at 211 mph.  Thanks to driver Lars Kern, Porsche has proved that the 2018 911 GT2 RS is the most powerful and now fastest 911 ever produced.
