After debuting in 2023, the Lexus RZ is back for its second year of production. The luxury electric SUV is the latest in a growing line of Lexus LEVs and hybrid LEVs. Luxurious Spacious Interior

The Lexus RZ leads the way in terms of comfort. As a crossover SUV, the RZ offers plenty of space without sacrificing much performance. The Lexus RZ comfortably seats five passengers with over three feet of rear leg and headroom. It can also handle plenty of cargo, with up to 34.9 cubic feet of total cargo volume.

But the RZ offers more than just a roomy interior. It’s also outfitted with premium materials and ample features to keep you comfortable on the road. These include heated and ventilated front seats, on-board WiFi, and Bluetooth connectivity with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

All-Electric Driving

The fully electric Lexus RZ offers permanent freedom from the gas pump. Built with a 72.8 kWh battery pack, the RZ can travel up to 266 miles on a single charge. The Lexus RZ is compatible with both Level 2 AC chargers and Level 3 DC chargers.

Using a 220V Level 2 charger, the RZ can reach a full charge in approximately 10 hours. At Level 3 DC charger, the RZ’s charging time is about 3 miles per minute, or about 1 hour for a full charge.

Safety & Technology

The Lexus RZ is equipped with advanced safety features and driver-focused technologies to keep everybody safe on the road. Some of the safety highlights available on the RZ include pre-collision with pedestrian detection, lane departure alerts and assistance, and intelligent high beams.

Also included is a head-up display and ergonomic steering wheel controls to help keep the driver’s focus on the road at all times. All of these features contribute to the 2024 RZ’s 5-star safety rating from the NHTSA.

Four Trim Levels

The 2024 Lexus RZ is available in four trim levels. The baseline model is the RZ300e Premium. The next level up is the RZ3003 Luxury, which adds several design and luxury features, including premium surround sound, Ultrasuede-trimmed seats, and heated rear outboard seats.

Above those two models are the RZ450e Premium and RZ450e Luxury. The RZ450e models are equipped with All-Wheel Drive, delivering elevated performance over the RZ300e models. The RZ450e offers horsepower up to 308, compared to 201 HP on the RZ300e.

Price

The 2024 Lexus RX offers excellent value, starting at just $55,175 for the RZ300e Premium. The highest trim level, the RZ450e Luxury AWD, is available starting at $65,605.
