In the video, titled “An Electric Future”, members of Wakanda’s elite force, the Dora Milaje, calmly and quietly evade their pursuers. They do so while cruising through the city streets in the all-new Lexus RZ.
Starting with an establishing shot of the vehicle, its sleek and futuristic design stands out on screen. From the moment the Wakandan warriors start the car, its electric power is on full display. We see the RZ’s electric charger, and then feel its silence when started up. The smooth and quiet ride of the electric RZ is contrasted with the enemy’s noisy, revving mechanical engine.
Even during a chase, the atmosphere inside the RZ remains peaceful and quiet. The RZ’s slick navigation, sporty ride, and pristine luxury interior are all on clear display throughout the sequence.
The promotional film is the perfect way for the Lexus brand to embark on the next major chapter in its history.
