When Will the Lexus LF-Z be Available for Purchase?
While Lexus already has an established lineup of hybrid electric vehicles, the Lexus LF-Z is set to become the brand’s first fully electric vehicle. Earlier this year, Lexus announced that the LF-Z will officially be sold as the Lexus RZ450e, a mid-size crossover SUV.
Lexus LF-Z Release Date
Lexus has officially announced that the Lexus RZ450e will be available for purchase beginning December 2022. Previews of the model show a large dashboard-mounted touchscreen display and a digital head-up display, which should offer plenty of convenience for the driver. The RZ450e is expected to have a 65.6 kWh battery, with a range between 200-250 miles on a single charge.
Lexus has also announced intentions to offer “electrified versions of all its models by 2025.” Current Lexus hybrid models available for purchase are the Lexus UX Hybrid, NX Plug-in Hybrid, RX Hybrid, ES Hybrid, LS Hybrid, and LC Hybrid.
